Shipping

Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for paying all shipping and handling (time & materials to pack) costs. We combine items for shipment as possible. We ship via USPS Priority Mail, USPS Parcel Select, USPS Media Mail (if applicable) and Priority Mail International for all packages outside of the USA. We also ship via Fed Ex. We require insurance and signature confirmation on all packages. We do charge a fee for packaging materials and time to pack. We will do our best to package all shipments in-house but reserve the right to forward your item to an outside shipper if the item is too large or fragile. We will contact you to help coordinate an outside shipper quote. Our preferred outside shipper is: Action Shipping 11807 E Trent Ave, Spokane, WA 9920. 509-926-2445.
Removal:
Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. Purchases can be removed from premises only upon presentation of a paid invoice. The Auctioneer shall not be responsible for goods not removed/shipped within 30 days and shall have the option of removing and storing at the expense and risk of the purchaser any article purchased.
Any shipping invoice not paid in full within 30-days of auction will be sent to storage at a cost of $25 USD minimum, or 5% of the purchase price per lot (whichever is higher) per month. No property will be released until storage fees are paid in full.
If after 90-days the invoice and storage fee has not been paid in full, the merchandise will be:
1) Resubmitted in the next appropriate auction, without reserve, holding the purchaser liable for any deficiencies, 30% commission, and all costs of sale which is a minimum of $50 per lot.
2) If unsold at auction the item will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be issued.
Non-Delivery Responsibility:
Auctioneer shall not, in any event, be liable for non-removal, or for any other matter or thing, to any purchaser of any lot, other than for the return to the purchaser of the deposit, or sum paid on said lot, should the purchaser be entitled to it.

With this single owner sale we are pleased to be offering a portion of the Robert Osborne personal collection of movie memorabilia. Mr. Osborne’s passion, dedication and knowledge of motion pictures shines brightly in this vast collection of items. With memorabilia spanning from the 1920’s to date are collections of movie posters in all sizes, lobby cards, autographed photographs, autographed letters, awards, publicity photos, still photos, wire photos, fine art photos, campaign books, press kits and more. Movie posters include a scarce 3 sheet Pride of the Yankees in Excellent (never-used) condition as well as Pride of the Yankees photos highlighted by a Babe Ruth signed photograph. Also included are 3 sheets from My Foolish Heart, Stella Dallas, The Wedding Night and more. Half sheet posters include Apache War Smoke, Forever and a Day, My Fair Lady, Porgy and Bess and many, many more. Autographed pieces include items signed by Walt Disney, Babe Ruth, Lucille Ball, Bette Davis, Douglas Fairbanks, Jimmy Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Noel Coward, Lana Turner, Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, Barbara Stanwyck, Ingrid Bergman, James Stewart (2), Gene Tierney, Olivia de Haviland, Laurence Olivier, Julie Andrews (2), Gene Wilder, James Earl Jones, Gene Hackman, Richard Dreyfuss, Barbara Streisand, Sylvester Stallone, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Reeve and several hundred more. There are hundreds of publicity and production still photographs, movie posters, programs, ephemera and more. This sale is highlighted by Richard Day’s 1936 Academy Award Oscar® statuette for Art Direction of The Dark Angel with the following provenance, formerly the personal collection of Robert Osborne, then by descent through family of Mr. Osborne. Rivaling the Oscar statuette is Mr. Osborne’s Personal Copy of the book he authored. Titled "50 Golden Years of Oscar: The Official History of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences," hardcover, with dust jacket, by Robert Osborne, printed in 1979, with a special presentation page in front reading in part "Personal Copy for Robert Osborne." Mr. Osborne's passion, enthusiasm and appreciation of film and its stars is shown with this truly one-of-a-kind book containing no fewer than 383 signatures. When possible, Mr. Osborne would have the Oscar® winning Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress sign on the first two pages of the chapter chronicling that particular award ceremony. In addition, Mr. Osborne would, when possible, have other Oscar® winners sign on one of those first two pages. For other chapters Mr. Osborne has gathered signatures of Oscar® nominees covering every role of film making. This book is truly a one-of-a-kind item! Payment: Payment:
All invoices must be paid in full before their merchandise will be shipped or released to them. The buyer is responsible for paying the seller directly after winning the item. Payment is due within 4-days following receipt of the invoice either through the online platform or from Grant Zahajko, L.L.C. The seller accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Pay-Pal, and wire transfer. Any invoice totaling over $7,500 will require a wire transfer. Additionally, all items shipped to a location in Washington State, must pay sales tax based upon the location to where the item is being shipped, unless a copy of a valid reseller permit or tax exemption is provided. A 1.5% monthly interest rate will incur on all unpaid invoices after 30 days, in addition to storage fees.

Buyer's Premium: A 25% Buyers Premium will be added to all online bids. All bidders agree to accept our Terms & Conditions of Auction when bidding.

The Auctioneer shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of, or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance will be made, or sale set aside, on account of any incorrectness or error in cataloguing, or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as-is" and without recourse.
Grant Zahajko Auctions LLC may, but shall have no obligation to consider any reasonable request to refund any lot for discrepancy of description. Grant Zahajko Auctions LLC must be notified within 21 days of date of sale of the discrepancy and if Grant Zahajko Auctions agrees to a refund, the lot must be returned to Grant Zahajko Auctions LLC, in same condition it was in at the time of sale, within 30 days of the date of sale. NO refunds will be given after 30 days of date of any sale for any reason.
