Terms and Conditions
Online Bidding:
All online bidders are required to register with the online platform of their choice. Registration for online bidding follows the rules and requirements set by the platform chosen. In addition to those requirements, these Terms & Conditions apply.
Online Registration Requirements:
Registration online is for a specific auction only. Grant Zahajko Auctions, L.L.C. has the authority to approve or disapprove an individual for bidding at their auction. In addition to the requirements for the specific platform, Grant Zahajko Auctions, L.L.C. will require an individual to submit a valid credit card prior to the auction to be accepted for bidding.
Buyer's Premium:
A 26% Buyers Premium will be added to all online bids. All bidders agree to accept our Terms & Conditions of Auction when bidding.
Buyer's Review of Lots:
Bidders should examine all lots and descriptions and photographs prior to bidding as all items are sold as-described/photographed.
Bidder Disputes:
If any dispute occurs between two (or more) bidders, the Auctioneer may decide the sale. Or the Auctioneer may immediately put the lot up for sale again and resell to the highest bidder. The decision of the Auctioneer shall be final, fixed, and unequivocal.
Personal and Property Risk:
Persons in attendance during preview, sale, or removal of goods, assume any and all risks of damage of or loss to person and property, and specifically release the Auctioneer from liability therefore. Neither the Auctioneer, Grant Zahajko Auctions, L.L.C., nor their principal, shall be liable in the event of any dispute. The Auctioneer and Grant Zahajko Auctions, L.L.C., may tape record and/or video tape any auction, and the buyer agrees to allow such tape recording and/or video tape to be submitted as evidence in a court of law. Buyers agree to pay all reasonable fees incurred in enforcing these terms.
Payment:
Firearms: You will be invoiced for all firearms through our in-house invoice system. Once your invoice is paid we will deliver your firearm to our FFL broker where they will collect your FFL transfer information. They will pack and ship the firearm to you or your FFL broker you provide to them. They will charge a $40 per firearm fee for this service plus shipping/handling costs. Please note you may also pay a fee to the receiving FFL broker if it is not to you directly. Please take this into account when bidding. This is our process and there will be no exceptions.
Coins/Currency: All coins/currency will require a bank wire transfer. You will receive instruction with your invoice after the auction. If your bank participates you can also do a Zelle transfer. Once your invoice is paid then we will send to packing to be packed for shipment. Shipping charges are separate.
All invoices must be paid in full before their merchandise will be shipped or released. The buyer is responsible for paying the seller directly after winning the item.
Additionally, any applicable sales tax will be charged, unless a copy of a valid reseller permit or tax exemption is provided to Grant Zahajko Auctions.
Any invoice not paid within the specified timeframe will be subject to automatic cancellation.
The seller no longer accepts credit cards over the phone. We do not accept PayPal or checks of any kind.
Shipping:
All firearms will be shipped directly from our FFl broker to your FFL broker. All shipping/handling costs will be paid to them directly.
Coins/Currency: The buyer is responsible for paying all shipping and handling (labor & materials to pack) costs. Our in-house shipping department will gladly pack and ship any item that fits into a 14x14x14 inch or 30x5x24 inch or equivalent or smaller box/folio if it is not fragile or over 25lbs. We will charge for labor to pack and process based on actual time it takes, actual cost of materials used to pack and actual shipper charges that will include insurance and signature required. We generally use USPS, UPS and Fed Ex and compare the pricing between the three. We gladly will give shipping estimates prior to auction. Please make this request at least 24 hours prior to auction for our shipping department to respond. If your invoice is for multiple items, we will use our discretion on requiring the use of an outside shipper. We reserve the right to require an outside shipper on any item(s) in the auction even if not stated.
If your invoice requires the use of an outside shipper buyer must call and make all arrangements for pick up. Here are 2 options:

Removal:
Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. Purchases can be removed from premises only upon presentation of a paid invoice. The Auctioneer shall not be responsible for goods not removed/shipped within 30 days and shall have the option of removing and storing at the expense and risk of the purchaser any article purchased.
Any shipping invoice not paid in full within 30-days of auction will be sent to storage at a cost of $25 USD minimum, or 5% of the purchase price per lot (whichever is higher) per month. No property will be released until storage fees are paid in full.
If after 120-days the invoice and storage fee has not been paid in full, the merchandise will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be given:
Non-Delivery Responsibility:
Auctioneer shall not, in any event, be liable for non-removal, or for any other matter or thing, to any purchaser of any lot, other than for the return to the purchaser of the deposit, or sum paid on said lot, should the purchaser be entitled to it.
Claims:
No claims will be allowed after goods are removed from premises by bidder, or after receipt by bidder.
Compliance with the Terms of Sale:
In default of payment of invoices in full within the time specified, the auctioneer, in addition to all other remedies allowed by law, may retain all moneys received as deposit or otherwise as liquidated damages. Lots not paid for and removed within the time specified herein will be considered abandoned no refunds given.
Condition of Items Sold:
Grant Zahajko Auctions LLC may, but shall have no obligation to consider any reasonable request to refund any lot for discrepancy of description. Grant Zahajko Auctions LLC must be notified within 21 days of date of sale of the discrepancy and if Grant Zahajko Auctions agrees to a refund, the lot must be returned to Grant Zahajko Auctions LLC, in same condition it was in at the time of sale, within 30 days of the date of sale. NO refunds will be given after 30 days of date of any sale for any reason.
Addition-To, or Withdrawal-From, Sale:
The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw from Auction any of the items listed for sale. The Auctioneer also reserves the right to sell at this Auction items not currently listed. Additionally, the Auctioneer reserves the right to group one or more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide lots into two or more selling lots. Whenever the best interest of the seller is served, the auctioneer reserves when necessary the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk.
Reserve:
The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any, and all, bids. On lots with a reserve, the auctioneer has the right to bid on behalf of the seller.
Additional Terms and Conditions:
Any additional terms or conditions of sale or items, added by Auctioneer, shall be announced prior to the Auction and are binding.
Agency:
The Auctioneer is acting as agent only and is not responsible for acts of its principals.
Coin/Silver/Gold/Jewelry/Trading Cards - both sports and non-sports Sale:

Fire Arms:
All firearms (no matter age) will require transfer of shipping by our FFL Broker at expense to buyer of $40 + shipping costs. There may also be a fee charged by buyer's FFL broker as applicable. Other specific terms may also apply. See Auction details.

Buyers Premium Terms and Conditions

All on-line platform bids are subject to a 26% buyer's premium. All bidders agree to accept our Terms & Conditions of Auction when bidding.

Taxes

All Washington state buyers must pay sales tax based upon ship to location on purchases unless a copy of a valid re-seller permit or tax exemption is provided. Coins and bullion are exempt from Washington State Sales tax pursuant to WAC 458-20-248.
