This is one of the 1st Breitling Navtimers ever produced which was intended for the sole use by members of the Aircraft & Pilot Association (AOPA). These early watches do not bear any reference numbers on the case back & were only produced for 1 year from late 1954 - 1955. NOTE: Although there is no number on the back of the case, There is a number inside the case , marked 844202. This stainless steel Breitling - Pre-806 watch is powered by the highly desirable & rare 'Valjoux 72' manually wound chronograph movement. Watch is 40mm wide. Applied AOPA logo clearly visible. Black dial. Luminous hour marker & baton hands. 17 jewels. Finely beaded bezel & well preserved dial Crown appears original. Movement states 'Breitling Watch Corp 17 jewels, Unadjusted Swiss'. 'Bow' to bridge. Watch comes with stainless steel Speidel Flexi band. CONDITION: Very good, scratches to crystal. Watch in running order at time of auction. Will set & appears to function correctly. Full precision, however, cannot be guaranteed.

We ship Priority USPS insured or UPS Ground insured (International except Canada will be shipped USPS insured if available unless oversized) determined by Auction House.
