Midnight Sun Antique Auction Company or consignors make no guarantees stated or implied to the authenticity, attribution, reliability of description, or period of any item included in the auction. Please verify our descriptions and carefully study the property before you bid. Condition reports are subjective and are given only as an opinion and to help guide prospective buyers and should NOT be considered as a statement of fact. Buyers are in all cases responsible for determining the condition of lots in person or by photos and descriptions published online on the Internet, as there are no returns based on condition. All dates & measurements given are an approximate guide.

All payments are due after fall of the hammer. Please be aware that the Auction house will still require payment when invoice generated (we cannot use credit card on file with Invaluable/Azip unless previously on file with Auction House) which includes Buyer's Premium and any other applicable fees (unless cash wire transfer arrangements have been made). Late payments are subject to fees and penalties at the discretion of the Auction House. Payments unpaid or late will result in the account being sent to a collections agency. This can affect your overall credit scores for up to 7 years. Your bidder registration has been researched before approval for bidding at auction. The card provided on file was verified for identity purposes prior to approval. Auction house has the right to request further verification or cash payment for any sold items if they so determine .Contact Auction House before bidding if you need further details. Lastly, chargebacks will be not accepted for any reason or on any purchase

Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview Bodders understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidders responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Midnight Sun Antique Auction Co. shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it. Midnight Sun Antique Auction Co. will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidders agrees that everything is sold "as is" and that they may not return any item they purchase. Midnight Sun Antique Auction Co. is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Bidders who leave absentee bids acknowledge that a maximum bid does not guarantee a winning bid. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Midnight Sun Antique Auction Co. or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Midnight Sun Antique Auction Co. reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction
All items will be sold in order of Lot Number. No Lot Number may be transferred to another Buyer

Bidders are solely responsible for their winning items once the Auctioneer declares them "sold" . If the occasion arises, the Auctioneer may use his/her discretion and "pass" on an item if he/she feels an item has not received an adequate bid. We, as the Agent for the consignors, must also protect their interests. Consignors are not allowed to bid on their own property.

Midnight Sun Antique Auction Company reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time before the Sale or to reject a bid from any source from any bidders at any time.

International Bidders need to contact Auction House before bidding on High Value or oversized items before bidding.

Payment

All purchases are to be paid for at the end of the Sale. NO ADDED SURCHARGE FEES FOR CREDIT CARDS, NO HANDLING FEES (UNLESS NOTED ARRANGE OR UPS PACKING) We accept Visa / Mastercard / Discover/Amex, PAYPAL (NO additional surcharge credit card fees) Cash/Cashiers Check/Bank Transfer (Wire or Zelle) receive 3% discount (Total invoice over $2K). Successful bidders can pay invoice online received after auction. Online bidders will pay ADDED 20% Buyer's premium in addition to hammer price as stipulated in the online terms and total payment. We reserve the right not to take payments or reverse payments if we suspect any fraudulent activity. Auction House may required cash payment only for bidders with no or little history.

If we do not receive payment within 4 days, we will attempt to charge card on file or contact you. Late payments will be accepted at the discretion of the Auction House.

Online bidder shipping fees will be included on invoice unless winning item(s) oversized, multiple or shipped International. In this case, shipping will be paid separately and notified of total amount or bidder arrange. Third Party Buyers will be responsible for payment of total invoice.

Shipping Terms

Midnight Sun Antique Auction Company will charge bidder for shipping costs but will provide FREE inhouse handling for most items. Any oversized or special shipping will be NOTED ON LOT DESCRIPTION.'This lot UPS local can pack or ship or arrange own'. All items are shipped from California, USA. Bidders will be responsible for total cost of shipping, pack material (any handling as specified below) & Insurance charged on total purchase (unless contacted after auction for pick up arrangements). Contact Auction House within 48 hours for special shipping requests Any shipping to different address from billing will need extra verification processes.

We ship Priority USPS insured or UPS Ground insured (International except Canada will be shipped USPS insured if available unless oversized) determined by Auction House.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS before bidding, contact us if you have any questions about shipping: Customs restrictions on certain items such as firearms. We ship USPS which is the most economical but which have restrictions in size & insurance. Therefore, if items you are bidding on are oversized or could be over $600, we may not be able to insure or ship USPS. We ask no bidding for oversized lots. Please also be aware for of your country's Customs requirements or limitations. International. Winning bidders will be responsible for full payment irregardless of any shipping customs holds or fees incurred. We cannot be held responsible for any International shipping delays, loss or damage during transit. Contact auction house with any inquiries.

Midnight Sun Antique Auction Company will attempt to ship item(s) no more than 10 business days after payment unless other arrangements made. We endeavor to give your items the utmost protection during the delivery process. Midnight Sun Auction Company will not be held responsible for any items damaged or lost in transit

Sales Tax California Residents only

For U.S. California resident bidders only. We are required by law to collect California Sales Tax which will be added to the total invoice (as of 1/2019 Los Angeles, City of Long Beach) is 10.25%) unless items are being purchased from out of the State of California. Resale exemption forms must be completed or Seller's permit and number must be submitted while registering or emailed for California residents requesting Sales Tax exemption.
