Entwurf Johann Wilhelm Lanz attr. (1755-1761 für Frankenthal tätig), unterglasurblaue Pinselmarke mit Krone und Punkt 1762-1794, stark geschweifter und reliefierter Korpus in Rocailleform mit zwei mittigen Kreisöffnungen für Tintenfass und Sandstreuereinsatz, zwei Mulden für Utensilien sowie einer kleiner Öffnung als Federhalterung, verziert mit Blumenbuketts und Streublümchen in polychromer Aufgalsurbemalung sowie Purpur- und Goldstaffage, vergoldete Messingmontur bestehend aus flachem geschweiften Sockel mit umlaufendem Perlband und vier Füßen in Form eines plastischen Früchtezweiges sowie zwei Einsätzen mit plastischer Blattrosette auf den Deckeln, das Tintenfass zusätzlich mit originalem Glaseinsatz, seltenes Schreibzeug, zwei Rocaillespitzen alt restauriert und Vergoldung minimal berieben, sonst guter altersgemäßer Zustand mit kleinen Herstellungsfehlern, Maße max. 24 x 15,5 x 11,5 cm. Frankenthal Rococo writing set with brass mount
Designed by Johann Wilhelm Lanz attr. (worked for Frankenthal 1755-1761), underglaze blue brush mark with crown and dot 1762-1794, strongly curved and reliefed body in rocaille form with two central circular openings for inkwell and sand spreader insert, two hollows for utensils and a small opening as pen holder, decorated with flower bouquets and scattered flowers in polychrome overglaze painting as well as purple and gold staffage, gilt brass mount consisting of a flat curved base with surrounding pearl band and four feet in the shape of a sculpted fruit branch and two inserts with sculpted rosette leaves on the lids, the inkwell additionally with original glass insert, rare writing utensil, two rocaille tips restored and gilding minimally rubbed, otherwise in good condition with minor manufacturing defects, dimensions max. 24 x 15.5 x 11.5 cm. If shipping costs are not recorded on the buyer´s invoice it means either that the buyer intends to collect purchases in person or that standard shipping is not possible. In the latter case this may be for reasons of the abnormal size, weight or fragility of the purchased object, it may also result from the specific application of legal requirements.

In this instance we shall obtain a freight quotation on behalf of the buyer. Upon subsequent receipt of confirmed instructions Mehlis GmbH shall be pleased to proceed with shipping.
