Rare 19th century faience salt, white poppies, signed Thatcher.
Undated but signd by Euphemia A. Thatcher, who painted naturalistic floral patterns in the Lambeth faience department 1877-1899. Rarely seen examply of the form on such a delicate, liliputian piece, in rich shades of green, pink, umber and white- an array of blooms and blossoms, a noted favorite of the artist. Silver rim is not hallmarked; bottom marked with Doulton circle logo and 784.
