Description:

An antique 18-light patinated bronze Lily pad table lamp by Tiffany Studios (New York) and Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933). This striking example of Tiffany's most iconic lamp design was awarded the grand prize at the 1902 World’s Fair (Turin, Italy). It features 18 gold Tiffany Favrile aurene glass shades with pale lavender and blue iridescence and ruffled rims. The bronze Pond Lily table base, in a rich brown patina, features foliate details. The underside is impressed with the stamp "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 383." The lamp is accompanied by 17 gold aurene Favrile lily shades: four (4) are unsigned, while the rest are signed "L.C.T."

Dimensions: 20 X 15 X 15 in.

Condition: Good overall condition with mild age-related surface wear and patina. There is damage and loss to two of the glass shades and damage to one socket fitting, with evidence of restoration to several other socket fittings. Untested, it may require parts, service, and/or repair. Please bid accordingly. Estate fresh to the market.

Storage Fees: Oversize items, including items with "We Will Not Ship" listed in the lot description must be removed from our gallery within 15 Days after the auction, or will be subject to a $10 per lot, per day storage fee, unless other arrangements are made with the gallery.
