Hugh Hefner Signed First Issue of Playboy Magazine Featuring Marilyn Monroe Signed for Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair W/Signed Photograph & PSA DNA Authentication - This incredible piece of Hollywood and entertainment memorabilia is the first issue of the first year of the infamous "Playboy" magazine. This December 1953 issue of the magazine is one of the most popular and sought after issues of the magazine, as it features Marilyn Monroe as the centerfold and star and is the first Playboy issue to ever be printed. This particular issue was signed by creator and curator of the Playboy empire, Hugh Hefner, and according to our seller was signed in person for 2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair. The autograph has been authenticated and graded "8" by PSA DNA, and will be accompanied by a letter of grading and authenticity. The issue will also be accompanied by a signed 8" x 10" photograph of Claire Sinclair with the inscription "I hope you enjoy your Hef signed #1 Playboy as much as I did!", which has an authentication sticker in the bottom left corner. Also included with the lot will be a 5" x 7" photograph of Hefner and Sinclair. This issue of the magazine is truly a must-have for collectors with its celebrity centerfold, historical status and excellent provenance.
