Description:

Jim Dine (American, born 1935). A ten-color aquatint with silkscreen on Arches paper titled "The Robe Goes to Town." The artwork depicts a loosely sketched robe, tied at the front, set against a contrasting floral border. The piece is pencil signed by the artist and dated "1983" in the lower right, with the edition number 56/59 hand-inscribed in the lower left. Published by Pace Editions, New York. The work is presented under plexiglass in a wood frame. The piece retains its original gallery label and is accompanied by supporting documentation. Provenance: Barbara Gillman (1937-2023), an influential American art gallerist.

Dimensions: 61 X 41 X 2 in.

Condition: Good overall condition with average surface wear and paper toning. Frame showing mild storage wear to edges and corners. The gallery has not examined it out of the frame. Estate fresh to the market.
